where AroundTheHome is at with the pyramid

Posted on

We have noticed a lot of talk on socials about MLM just recently and wanted to re-assure everyone on where AroundTheHome is at, in regard to “pyramid schemes”

You can visit the Government Scamwatch page to confirm: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/types-of-scams/jobs-employment/pyramid-schemes

what a pyramid scheme does

what AroundTheHome does

you pay to join but what do you get for the money? you get very good value for what you pay
relies on you convincing other people to join up does not rely on you getting others to join
to make a profit it┬áneeds an endless supply of new members loves new members but doesn’t NEED them to survive
make money out of recruitment makes NO money out of recruitment
make their money by having people join don’t make their money by having people join
have big up-front costs have small up-front cost with high value
asks you to invest with no guaranteed return does not ask you to invest
claim a guaranteed income DO NOT claim a guaranteed income
often claim you can “get-rich-quick” points out this is NOT a get-rich quick scheme
(see our affiliate info page)
We encourage you to report scams to the ACCC via the report a scam page.
This helps them to warn people about current scams, monitor trends and
disrupt scams where possible. Please include details of the scam contact
you received, for example, email or screenshot.
